Following the same format as February's Prompts and Papers, this product is a must for your Writing Center or Writing Block! Included are 8 Journal Prompt Cards with beautiful and stunning glitterized graphics that will really appeal to your students. After reading the card, students find the coordinating journal planning page, which features basically the same question but asks the students to draw out their ideas for an answer. The last step in the process is a full-page writing paper with the same prompt that finally asks students to write out their answers. So if used in this way, it would be a 2-3 day process for each prompt. There are 8, so it could take you through the month of March! Your students will enjoy having a March Writing Journal (Cover included), with a picture/word chart for help when writing, if needed. The theme revolves around St. Patrick's Day, but the prompts don't necessarily. For example:
~The Ireland flag is orange, white and green. Green is a popular color to the Irish for this reason. If you could make your own flag, what would it look like? What symbols would be on it? What colors would it be made of? Describe your flag using as many details as you can.
~Many people consider horseshoes, 4-leaf clovers and rainbows lucky symbols. Do you have any lucky things? What brings you luck? What kind of luck has it brought you? Describe your lucky symbols or things using as many details as you can.
