Counting on with Gold: students will choose a coin (11-20) and write the two numbers that follow. (K.CC.A.1, K.CC.A.3)
Leprechaun Coin Count students will count nickels by 5's to help the leprechaun count his money. (K.CC.A.2, K.CC.A.3)
“Egg”cellent Number Order: students will order numbers from least to greatest. (K.CC.A.2, K.CC.A.3)
Odd and Even Birds: students will sort and write odd and even numbers. (K.CC.A.1)
Buggy Bonds: students will observe the relationship between numbers using bonds. (K.OA.A.2, K.OA.A.3)
Shamrock Tally: students will match numbers to tally's to complete a shamrock puzzle and then practice writing writing both. (K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)
Crazy Bird Base Ten: students will look deeper at numbers to see how they are made up of tens and ones. (L.K.1.A, K.NBT.A.1)
Carrot Count: students will continue to build numbers using twenty frames. (K.CC.B.4, K.CC.B.5)
The Greatest Worm: students will compare numbers and use the appropriate symbol. (K.CC.B.7)
Time for Spring: students will read digital clocks (hour/half hour) and then draw the hands to match on an analog clock. (K.MD)
Spring Addition: students will add groups of objects and then use numbers to represent them. (K.CC.A.3, K.OA.A.1)
Caterpillar Subtraction: students will use objects to subtract and then write number sentences on a recording sheet. (K.CC.A.3, K.OA.A.1)
