Comparing Station: Lucky Numbers (CC.C.7)
In this activity, students can play the game two different ways. In the first game, students compare cards using a more/less spinner. In the second game, students compare cards using greater than or less than cards.
Counting Station: Number Puzzles (CC.A.1, CC.A2)
In this activity students put together multiple puzzles in a variety of counting sequences.
Counting Station: Lucky Graph (CC.A.3, CC.B.5)
In this activity, students choose a graphing board. They have to count the number of objects on the board and then graph them on a recording sheet. There are 3 different boards to choose from.
Addition/Subtraction Station: On and Off the Board (K.OA.A.1)
In this activity, students count the number of counters that land on and off the board. Students record their work on number bonds.
In this activity, students roll a die and move along a game board, landing on a number. Then students spin a spinner and add the two number numbers together stating the equation.
Addition/Subtraction Station: Rainbow Number Combinations (K.OA.A.3)
In this activity, students choose a game board with numbers 4-10. Students use counters to find all the ways to make that number. Students record their equations on a recording sheet.
Addition/Subtraction Station: Pot of Gold Speedy Facts
In the activity, students take a game board and a die. Student roll the die and read the answers to the math facts in the row of the corresponding number as quickly as they can.
In this activity, students match equation cards with cards that show a picture to represent the subtraction facts.
In this activity, students match equation cards with cards that show a picture to represent the addition facts.
Counting Station: Count the Gold (CC.A.1, CC.A.2)
In this activity, students choose from different task boards. Students count on from the first number to help collect the gold.
In this activity, students choose a card with an addition or subtraction fact (through 5). In order to keep the card, he or she must answer the equation correctly. If a student draws a SPRING! Card, he must put all his cards back in the container.
