This is a lesson plan for younger elementary to create a sequence that shows how a plant grows. By the end of this lesson, each student or partner group will have created a show that changes from a seed, root, stem, and flower.
Prior to teaching this lesson, a basic familiarity of Scratch Jr is encouraged, but not necessary. This lesson could be used to incorporate STEM or in a technology/computer lab. We used these lessons after Hour of Code week in my computer class!
Please note, this lesson plan only works with Scratch Jr which is on iPads and Chromebooks.
