Have your students engaged with this hands-on sensory bin
for March! The skill worked on is sorting syllables to the correct syllable bag (RF.K.2 & RF.1.2
). There are cards with one, two and three syllables.
Provided is a colored set as well as a black and white set, depending on your printing availability. Print on card stock and laminate for durability. Cut the cards up and place in a tub filled with seasonal objects for the students to feel and explore. Included in the set is a list of some fillers that I have used personally in my classroom that work great. Also included in this sensory bin are student recording sheets. You can either print off for each student to take home to show their parents or simply place them in a plastic sleeve and use dry erase markers!
