Put a “wee bit” of St. Patrick’s Day fun with no prep into math with these First Grade Common Core State Standards (CCSS) Printables. 15 worksheets are included focusing on: Operations & Algebraic Thinking and Number & Operations in Base Ten. Three of the worksheets are word problems. Each page is labeled with the CCSS.
Second graders can use as review.
"Brain Bonus" challenge problems are included on some pages to reach all of your students' levels.
Just print on green paper (if you wish) and you are set!

1.OA.B.3: Apply properties of operations as strategies to add and subtract. Add two numbers to make a ten (associative property of addition).
1.OA.B.4: Understand subtraction as an unknown-addend problem.
1.OA.C.5: Relate counting to addition and subtraction (e.g., by counting on 2 to add 2)
1.OA.C.6 Add and subtract within 20, demonstrating fluency for addition and subtraction within 10. Create equivalent but easier or known sums.
1.OA.D.7: Understand the meaning of the equal sign, and determine if equations involving addition and subtraction are true or false.
1.OA.D.8: Determine the unknown whole number in an addition or subtraction equation relating to three whole numbers.
Number and Operations in Base Ten
1.NBT.A.1: Starting at any number less than 120, read and write numerals
1.NBT,B.2: Understand that the two digits of a two-digit number represent amounts of tens and ones.
1.NBT.B.3: Compare two two-digit numbers based on meanings of the tens and ones digits.
1.NBT.C.4: Add within 100, adding a two-digit number and a multiple of 10.
