Leprechaun Gold: An Addition and Subtraction Game
Two versions of this game included! In Version 1, students have to figure out how much gold they stole from the leprechaun by adding up all of the coins in the coin pile! In Version 2, students practice subtraction by seeing how much gold the leprechaun stole from them!
Line Them Up: Fractions on Number Lines
Students race in teams to see which team can line up all of the cards in the correct order first! Two versions are included. In the first version, students play with the fractions on the number line labeled. In the second version, students play with the fractions on the number line not labeled.
Lucky Leprechaun: Multiplication and Division Word Problems
Students get to put together a leprechaun in this fun game for two to four players! Each time a student answers a question card, they get to add a part of their leprechaun to their playing area! If a student draws a chance card, they must follow the words on the card that may help them or not! The first person to finish building their leprechaun wins the game.
St. Patty's QR Codes: Rectilinear Area
There are 24 cards included and three games in this pack! Students have to solve to find the area of rectilinear shapes to figure out the mystery phrase. Each time they find an answer, they scan the QR code to figure out the mystery letter that the card goes with. In the end, students should be able to spell out a word that relates to St. Patrick's Day. This is a class favorite!
Grab It!: Fractions as Whole Numbers
Students play a fractions game where each rectangle whole number matches with a circle that has a fraction on it. Students lay down all of the circles and have to be the first one to grab the corresponding fraction that goes with the whole number on the card!
Clover Graphs: Bar Graphs and Pictographs
Students draw 24 different colored clovers out of a bag. They make a bar graph or pictograph using the data chart and graphing chart included.
Chase the Rainbow: Area and Perimeter Missing Sides
All students choose a leprechaun and put it at the start of the rainbow. Each time a student answers a question, they get to move forward on the rainbow towards the gold pot at the end. The first player to make it there wins!
St. Patty's Race: Geometry
Two players race to see who can categorize their geometric shapes first. Students race to put shapes into the correct categories (polygons, not polygons, quadrilaterals, and parallelograms).
St. Patty's Problems: Multi-Step Word Problems
Students answer multi-step word problems about Saint Patrick's Day. Each time they get a question correct, they get to randomly choose a piece of gold from the middle. Each piece of gold has a different value on it. The person who has the most valuable gold pile at the end wins!
Luck of the Emoji: Multiply by Tens
Students answer a green Saint Patrick's Day hat question card. If they multiply by ten correctly, they get to randomly choose an emoji out of the bag. If they get a lucky emoji, the question card is theirs to keep. If they get an unlucky emoji card, they have to put their question card back in the bag. The person with the most question cards at the end of the game wins.
