Bring the music of Peter Tchaikovsky’s, "March" from The Nutcracker Ballet to life for your students with these cute finger puppets. Some suggested uses....as part of your guided listening (students move the character whenever they hear that theme), demonstrate tempo, move when they hear a certain instrument, create “synchronized finger puppet dances,” as a workstation, or just for extra fun! Students can even make them dance along as they watch video clips of the song. There are two versions of soldiers in this set.
Included in this set:
* two pages in color of a toy soldier (with cut-out guide lines)
* two pages in color of a toy soldier (without cut-out guide lines)
* two pages in B&W of a toy soldier (with cut-out guide lines)
* two pages in B&W of a toy soldier (without cut-out guide lines)
Though the "real" dancers in this song are actually party members, we like to pretend to be toy soldiers when we do movements to this song.
No need for card stock - regular paper works fine. Cut out and tape around the finger. You can have your students color the black and white images or simply print the "color" versions. The color images even look great printed in black and white on a basic copier.
