The Complete Marijuana Unit contains 3 Lessons and a variety of supplemental materials. All lessons meet the National Health Standard and have clearly define Daily Learning targets/Objectives. Each lesson can be used for grades 7-12 grade or Homeschoolers. The Unit is designed to take 3 days to complete. Lesson One of the Marijuana Unit Includes these Learning Targets:
Students will learn whether smoking marijuana is worse than smoking cigarettes.
Students will learn this by learning how it affects job opportunities because it will show up on drug tests, how it affects the male and female reproductive system, etc.
Students will be assessed by Cost/Benefit Analysis.
Lesson 2 How Marijuana effects your brain and the Principle that Grow is Sequential
Lesson Two Marijuana Unit Includes these Learning Targets (includes many resources from Lesson One):
Students will learn how marijuana changes the structure of their brain.
Students will learn this by viewing brain scans and applying the Principle that Growth is Sequential.
Students will be assessed by completing the Student Worksheet – Marijuana Cost Benefit Analysis.
Lesson 3 Cost Benefit Analysis and My Boundaries in relations to . . .
Lesson Three Includes these Learning Targets:
Students will demonstrate what they have learned about the use of Marijuana.
Students will do this by completing the Student Worksheet – Marijuana Cost Benefit Analysis and A Different Kind of Test based on how they will handle situations involving drug situations.
