A set of 36 beautifully colored cards picture 6 animals from each of the following taxonomic groups: bivalves, cephalopods, gastropods, crustaceans, echinoderms, and cnidarnians. Students use the cards to play Go Fish to make pairs of animals from each group. The taxonomic information is not given on the cards, so students need to remember which classification each animal is from. If this is too advanced for students, there is an easier option given on the Student Instruction Sheet.
Print the card pages front and back so that you have an animal on one side and the game logo on the other side. Laminate and cut them out to have a deck (or several) that you can use over and over again.
