Your students will love this thematic math center that incorporates three Common Core Math skills!
I print and laminate the Super Mario character mat and Super Mario Graph for each child in my center group. The students use a dry erase marker to count and categorize each different character onto their graph.
The next step is to use the information from the graph to create and solve addition and subtraction problems. The students then solve each problem using the laminated Super Mario character mat or any manipulatives you like.
Finally, the students use the information from the graph to compare numbers. This final sheet can be printed and cut vertically to make 2 answer sheets and save you some paper!
My students love these fun, colorful activities! Have a great time learning with this center!
If your kids love it as much as mine do, check out our “Deep Sea Animals Graphing and More!” math center and our “Animals In The Tall Grass Graphing and More!” math center.
If you want more Mario, we have a "Mario Tens and Ones" Math center to practice counting base ten blocks.
