This is Mark Twain Central for finding many of Mark's Twain's lesser known works. Teachers and students alike tend to fall in love with Mark Twain. There is something about his sense of humor and his writing style that has captivated readers since “The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County” was published in 1865. Most of us are familiar with Twain’s most famous works, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. And we might know one or two of his shorter works. However, there are many other pieces by Twain awaiting our discovery. It is the purpose of this short pamphlet to let the reader become aware of these less famous works. You can be sure that Twain’s famous sense of humor will delight the reader today as much as when these works were first penned. Enjoy!
