Product Description
I couldn't find a great Marketing Mix project out there so I created my own which is initially intended for my Marketing students. This could be used in any Business, Marketing or Entrepreneurship class or unit from 7th - 12th grade.

Project could be done in a team of 2 of be done individually.

This project helps students apply the concepts of the Marketing Mix, Target Market, and Competition to companies which students are familiar with in their world. I also made this a competition where students will vote on the best project and winning team will get some type of prize.

Note: I recommend getting poster board for the students (see sample) and printing out the company logos (in color) for students to bring this project to life and show their creativity. I also randomized my students into project teams of two and then had each team draw a card (Ace thru 2) to determine the order in which students could choose their company. This is similar to a draft and gets students super engaged and excited.

About the files:

Project Overview:

Page 1 -Contains details about the project including the purpose, suggested group roles and information about the competition.
Page 2 has tips for researching and finding information about the companies.
Page 3 has specific questions for students to research and look for.
Page 4 contains detailed requirements and a rubric based on a point system.

Companies Document:

Contains over 60 images of large company/brand logos for easy printing. These companies were suggested by actual students. Each project team will select 1 company/brand for their project. Note: A couple companies may be local to Philadelphia area but most are Nationally known companies.

Netflix Sample: This is a photo of a project which I completed. This gives students visual example of what is to be expected for their own project.

Materials Required:

Poster Board (1 for each team)
Markers/Colored Pencils,Glue,Rulers (to be shared among project teams)
Computer/Laptops with internet access (so students can research their company/brand to completed their marketing mix and target market)
