This game is a great way for students to practice addition and subtraction facts and increase mental math capabilities.
Print out game board, game pieces, counters, and fact cards. Cut apart all pieces. Shuffle and place fact cards in a pile face down. Place counters in a pile to be used for solving problems if needed.
Players will roll a dice: the person with the highest number goes first.
The first player will pick a fact card from the top of the pile to solve. If the player solves it correctly, he/she will roll the dice and move his/her game piece that number of spaces.
Players will take turns until someone finishes and “wins.”
