Martin Luther King Day product consists of two nine to ten minutes skits. Total playing time 20 minutes.
Skit One - Childhood Days has five characters Martin Junior, his two siblings and his parents. We first see Martin Junior at the piano playing and singing " I want to be more and more like Jesus' when he is interrupted by his sister Christine Later his mother enters.During their dialogue Martin Senior enters, he is anger and calls for all the children before he confronts Martin Junior about the conversation he had with his Sunday school teacher. Martin is reprimanded. After his father leaves his mother speaks with him about his Bible passage as well as the pranks he and his brother Alfred has been playing on other children and the elderly.

Skit Two- The dialogue. consists of four main characters Benjamin, Jimmy, Sharlene and Nora and a group of six others. The dialogue begins when Benjamin says he wishes to be like Martin Luther King Junior. His friends laugh at him and reminds him that he is white. He tells them that he wants to as smart. A discussion begins.about the achievements of Martin Luther King and his Civil Rights Activities.
The skit ends with students giving sections of the , " I have a dream," speech.

Skits are good for celebrating Martin Luther King's Day, for Black History Month and for a Social Studies class.

Good for ages 10-13 years.
