These activities and printables are a nice complement to any MLK unit! There are 2 writing/drawing prompts; "I can make the world a better place by" and "I have a dream that someday." Each prompt comes in 2 types of writing lines and should be used after reading any MLK book. There is also a bulletin board suggestion. After reading The Crayon Box That Talked, students will color a self portrait on a crayon. These crayons can be used to make a bulletin board reminding students to accept one another and celebrate their differences. Last, there are 2 poems you can read aloud and/or post with the crayon portraits.
