"I have a dream about____. Who has a dream about_____."
5 decks included:
18 /R/ cards
18 /S/ cards
18 /TH/ cards
18 /SH,CH/ cards
18 /L/ cards
1. Divide the cards among the students. I allow the students to lay their cards on the table so they can see all of them.
2. Each card has the same two sentences, which the students read aloud during every turn:
(Within the picture): “I have a dream about______.” (The word in the blank will be a word that contains the target sound for that deck)
“Who has a dream about _____?” (This may be a definition, synonym, antonym, etc.)
3. One card says “I have a dream…about the first card” and that player reads that card first and places it face up on the table. Only one student will have the answer to the question from that card. The person with the asnwer will then read the sentences on his/her card and place it on the table, and the game continues until one player plays the last card (the last card says “I have the last card.”).
