This one page biography summary of Martin Luther King Jr. is chocked-full of interesting facts, but it is filled with many different types of grammar errors: spelling, punctuation, possessives, verb tense, capitalization, etc. The students have to find and correct as many grammatical errors as they can, and they will also learn some facts about this famous American Civil Rights leader as they do so. You can make this a paired activity or a competition, and it is a great way to review grammar rules while they proofread. An answer KEY is included, making this 2 pages total. (If I counted correctly, there are 45 mistakes!) This is a great activity for MLK Day. The first page is shown in the thumbnail.
