This is a fun MLK literacy freebie with a touch of math added in.
This Martin Luther King, Jr. Color It, Count It, Graph It! activity includes two pages. The first page of each lesson invites the children to find and color some words that are often associated with MLK using a color code. The children are then asked to count the number of times they colored each word and write it in the box provided. The second page asks the children to graph the number of times they found each word and to write the word or words that appeared the most and the least.
You may find this product to be useful at the conclusion of an MLK social studies lesson, as independent practice, morning work, partner work, and more!
Happy MLK Day!
