Wild Child Designs

This product is a craftivity and Power Point of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s famous quotations. It requires analysis and critical thinking from the students. It includes the necessary printables to create a cloud and rainbow mobile, a 4C's organizer inspired by "Making Thinking Visible," Teacher Talk notes (lesson plan), and a Power Point presentation of Dr. King's most famous quotations.

Students are asked to analyze and connect their lives to his words. Using the 4C's strategy, students must make connections, challenge his ideas, think about the concepts represented in the quotations, and identify changes that occur in their thinking.

The craftivity requires students to identify ways they will keep Dr. King's dream alive in their lives. This product includes directions and photos for the craftivity. Materials needed for the craft are the printables in this product, a hot-glue gun, fishing line or string, coloring materials, glue stick, paper clips, and scissors.
