This activity includes six pages that each have a short non-fiction story about Dr. King. Following the story, there are 3-4 questions regarding the main idea/details in the story, vocabulary, synonyms/antonyms, and grammar that needs to be fixed. There are also six coloring/dot pages that can be used to target any goal area.
To prepare: Print and cut out pages 3-8. Laminate for durability, if desired. Print out pages 9-14 and use with “dot markers” or crayons/markers.
To use: Pages 3-8 --> Read the passage to the student(s) and use any combination of main idea/details questions, vocabulary questions, synonym/antonym questions, and/or grammar questions to target goal areas. Pages 9-14 --> These sheets can be used to target any goal area. For each task, a student can use a “dot marker” or crayons/markers to fill in each circle.
