Please note: This activity is also included in the MLK Day Packet
Your students will enjoy celebrating MLK Day and Black History Month with this fun graphing activity! Your students will put their knowledge of coordinate systems, coordinate graphing, and ordered pairs to work creating a simple line portrait of Martin Luther King, Jr. Students plot points from a list of ordered pairs and then connect the dots to form the figure. The coordinate plane includes positive numbers only. A key is included to show how the finished figure should appear.
If you like this product, please leave feedback and check out my other resources. I have lots of ordered pairs practice in my catalog!
Please do not copy this activity for an entire grade level or school. If your colleagues like the activity, please send them to Teachers Pay Teachers! Thank you!
