Martin Luther King, Jr. Math Glyph is an activity that students can use to hone their abilities in mathematics while putting together a fun art project that you can put on display on your classroom wall. The math problems are designed for children in the 6th grade and are aligned with the Common Core State Standards for sixth grade mathematics.
Please note that this is not a 'goofy glyph' like my other glyphs.
Common Core State Standards (CCSS) covered:
6.NS.2 - addition and subtraction
6.NS.3 - multiplication
At the back of this booklet are templates that your students can use to help design their glyphs; otherwise, they can choose to create their own artwork.
Also at the back of this book is a graph that you can use to demonstrate how the students in your class view different questions from the glyph.
This is a detailed glyph. Please make sure to check out the preview to see if it is good match for your class.
All artwork is original and created by myself.
Thanks for stopping by my store,
