Martin Luther King Jr. Pennants are a great way for students to honor and celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day and civil rights awareness! To honor Martin Luther King Jr., students are able to create MLK Jr. Pennants with this document. Each pennant included in this document is hand-drawn. These are a great addition to any classroom/bulletin board. Students are able to color the front of the pennant and then write/draw their dreams for a better world on the back of the pennant!

To create their pennant:
*First make copies of the pennants and have students choose a pennant to color the front.
*On the back of the pennant, have students write/draw a picture of how they will make the world better or their dream they have for a better world.
*Once students are finished, place the pennants on a string and hang in your classroom or staple onto a bulletin board.
*Hope your students enjoy creating pennants to honor Martin Luther King Jr.!
