Want or need a unique, creative, and colorful resource for your lessons and/or unit on Martin Luther King, Jr. (or for Black History Month)? These quilt design worksheets will make a great additional resource for you and your class. Students create their own individual quilt by filling in the answers on the worksheet and then coloring the blocks on the "quilt."

Included in this resource are the following:
☆ Individual worksheet (with 4 styles of worksheets and 20 variations for each style) - you could even choose to hand out different versions for each student to work on
☆ 24 quilt blocks (approximately 5 inches) so students can work in groups or as a while class to create a larger quilt. A blank (or empty) block is also included so you can have your students design their own, include your own vocabulary words or your own criteria.
You can hang the finished quilt(s) on your classroom wall, in the hallway or help to decorate for an upcoming concert!
