Tired of boring worksheets about Martin Luther King Jr.? Get your students to create a booklet about Martin Luther King Jr. while using rhetoric and figurative language.. Neat right?
Foldable Booklet Speech Analysis Pamphlet Assignment
Analyze the rhetorical devices and elements of speech in speeches by MLK Jr. (The speeches are NOT included in this resource).
Materials Needed for this Activity
The speeches- All of the speeches selected are public domain and readily accessible on the internet.
Printer- You must print the pamphlet out double-sided, in a booklet format so it looks like a booklet students can fold.
YouTube- I strongly suggest playing the speech and letting the students hear or see the orator.
