This thematic unit is a great resource to teach students how to talk about MLK. This unit is full of activities, bulletin board ideas, speaking activities, and discussions. There are 6 full units with up to 14 days of activities. There is an activity for every level language learner.
All the lessons/activities in this unit have instructions for the teacher. Each lesson is separate and contains essential questions, suggested number of days for activities, procedure strategies, an extended activity, “I Can” statements, and student learner outcomes. At the end of each unit, you will find printables for that lesson if they are required. The printables can be projected, pushed out in digital form (Google Classroom) or printed and given to students. If printing, students will need the links to articles and/or videos if needed.
