Martin Luther King, Jr.: Word Search Activity
If your students are like mine, they love these. I use them to introduce vocabulary, or even just give it as morning work. Use it however you would like in your classroom.
In this Martin Luther King, Jr. themed puzzle, words are found forward, backward, up, down, and diagonally. I would consider it on the challenging side since students are looking for words in all directions. Keep this in mind when considering it for third grade and below.
Also, it can be used as a literacy center if your students write about some of the words listed on the word search. They could define the words or some of the words, and tell you the page in the dictionary where they found the definition.. They could also use ten words in a sentence to give you an idea of what they know about Martin Luther King, Jr.
The words included in the Martin Luther King, Jr. word search are:
I Have a Dream

Please, if you ever notice I have overlooked adding a word to the puzzle, please send me a message before you rate the product. I try to double check, but it is possible for me to miss one with so many letters to add to the puzzle. I can get it corrected in a jiffy. Thanks so much! :-)
