Product Description
This song about Dr. Martin Luther King was written in response to the book My Brother Martin, written by Christine King Farris, published by Aladdin Paperbacks in 2003. In the book, she recounts the day Martin's friends from across the street said that they could no longer play together. Their mother tried to explain by saying, "White people just don't understand that every one is the same, but someday they will." Christine quotes Martin as saying, "Mother Dear, one day I'm going to turn this world upside down."
