Students will "Color to Learn" about our first great civil rights leader President Abraham Lincoln who brought our country the realization that working and fighting for Civil Rights is really at the heart of what makes America, America. Martin Luther King Jr. carried on the mission of "Civil Rights" as his life's work, and his most noteworthy contribution in the advancement of Civil Rights occurred on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial when he gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. Included is Lincoln's "Gettysburg Address" and excerpts from King's "I Have a Dream" speech. Student's "Color to Learn" some interesting facts about these two great Civil Rights leaders.
