Marzano’s scale of understanding is a quick way for students to self-assess their understanding of a concept taught. It also allows the classroom teacher to see how comfortable students are with the concept.
Students hold their hand in front of their chest holding up the number of fingers which matches their level of understanding.
The bright colored polka dots and colored font will add pizazz and brightness to your classroom.
I have this displayed in my classroom and before I send students off to work independently I ask for their level of understanding. This helps me see which students I need to visit first or if there is a small group of students I can work with at the side table.
See the preview file for a picture of each poster.
Print these on cardstock and then laminate for durability. Post them in the classroom where all students can see for easy referencing.
The polka dot theme also matches my Editable Behavior Management Clip Chart and can be found HERE!
