Students are asked to think about one serving of their favorite cereal or cracker snack. Students are requested to bring in what they believe is one serving of the cereal or crackers of their choosing. Students need to be sure to write down the MASS in grams of what is one serving of their product. This is fun to see what THEY believe is one serving and what one serving is in reality. This give them practice with estimating and measuring mass with something that is meaningful to them.
