The “MASTER Multiplication” test and review packet is designed to ensure that your students are fluent and confident when multiplying common numbers early on in the school year.
I suggest using the pretest as a gauge (preferably within the first month of school) of your class’ current skill level. As each student feels prepared, he can study for and take successive multiplication family quizzes, tracking his progress on his Student Progress Chart. This is a flexible arrangement that allows room for differentiation and adjusted track speeds for every level.
The assessments work best when coupled with classroom review, seat work, independent math centers drilling, or other multiplication facts review. To conclude the review unit, assign the identical post-test so that students can see their progress.
Learning higher math is so much easier when each student has a strong foundation, which includes thorough knowledge of multiplication facts.
This unit is intended for use in a single classroom. If you would like to share with a colleague, please direct them to my TpT store or purchase additional licenses for them.
