This is a great activity to work on mathematical skills and fitness. It's a good cross-curricular activity that deals with fractions and the ability to learn about them when using fitness skills.. This activity as been tried at many levels and can be incorporated in any level from 3-12 grade. The following concepts and skills will be covered: Muscular endurance, muscular strength, speed, quickness, agility, pushing, pulling, and mathematical skills.
