This activity can be done with any time of material that you can stack and doesn't necessarily have to be mats. It's a good way to use mathematical skills while at the same time using fitness/exercising skills. The following concepts will be covered: Muscular strength, muscular endurance, pushing, pulling, speed, quickness, balancing, and lifting. This is an individual, group, and partner activity that can really challenge your students ability to work together and their individual strength depending on the equipment you use. Modify the equipment to make it heavier or little depending on your age group.
