Matching Decimals and Equivalent Fractions / CHALLENGING & HIGH LEVEL
Students are given a column of decimals and a column of equivalent fractions to match, but there's a "trick" involved.
Some of the fractions ARE REDUCED and some are NOT REDUCED yet STILL equivalent to the decimals. This makes it much more challenging since the students must know the fractions are still equivalent even though they are not reduced to lowest terms.
Not for the beginner, but for reinforcement of the relationship between decimals and fractions.
Please look at the thumbnails or download preview to see just how difficult these are.
You can even use these as whole classroom lessons discussing the answers as you go along. Your download of 4 pages includes answers. Decorated for fun. By David Filipek
* I make all my worksheets as carefully as these and have many others on decimals and fractions. Check them out at my store. Just click the link below called "DAVID FILIPEK STORE LINK" and it'll take you right there. Great teaching!
