Graphs of Linear Equations Bingo
This BINGO game will help you assess whether your students understand how to graph linear equations and the correlation between equations and their graphs. Their BINGO card will consist of 24 graphs of linear equations and a FREE space. You will read them an equation and they will find the graph that matches the equation you read and mark it. The game continues until someone gets BINGO or until the end of the period. If you play it until the period ends, you would then collect it and check for each student's total number of BINGO's (which they should illustrate for you by drawing a line through each BINGO).
Give each student a BINGO card with the linear equations graphs. I have provided you with seven different versions of the Graphs of Linear Equations BINGO cards so that your student's bingo cards are not all the same.
The letters in the lower left hand corner are there so that you can easily match up student
answers with the lettered answers provided when checking for BINGO. Put the letters a -x on Popsicle sticks (or pieces of paper) in a basket and draw them out one at a
time to determine the order that you read the answers given below. Students should put an x on each graph that matches the equation read by you. You can play it as standard bingo (5 in a row) or you can play it as BINGO plus so that the students can go for more than one bingo. This allows you to decide how long you want to play.
