It is so exciting to watch students work with these flash cards! Their task is to match pairs of 18 graphs and equations. Students often confuse a slope with its opposite or reciprocal, so the included graphs have plenty of examples to clarify this. The graphs also include opposite y-intercepts, another common area of confusion. This algebra activity is ideal for a math center, or a whole-class activity. You can also print copies for each student, so that they can glue the correct equation on the back of each graph to make an excellent study guide. No matter how you use these cards, your students are going to become more proficient with graphs of linear equations! - Created by Judy Seki, "Math in a Flash!"
