Mateo, our mouse, finds a treasure map in a tree and decides to go off with his friends in search of the treasure. This story is packed with adventure and pattern sentences to make it both accessible to young learners but at the same time of high interest. As they follow the map, they go through a variety of geographical features, seeing creatures which make them run for their lives! Your upper elementary & early middle school students will love this story! After they have learned the story, our activity pack gives them the opportunity to create their own version of the story and put on a puppet play- a great way to bring the theme to an end.
The Activity Pack includes:
-Printable minibook 'Mateo y el mapa del tesoro'
-Teacher's Lesson guide (6 pages) to help you teach the theme from beginning to end, including games, extension activities, a song link, and more
