Fractions as Division Scavenger Hunt:
Great activity to get your students up and moving and thinking. This is a wonderful activity because the students have to self-correct.

Students practice equal share and fractions as division.
They “hunt” for the answer in order to do the next problem.

Hang the problems and the answers around your classroom.
Each problem has a letter, which students will write on their recording sheet as they answer each question. This is to keep track of the problems they have solved.
Students can start at whichever letter they chose. They will answer all the problems. There are 12 problems.
Students work with partners to solve the problem on the paper and record it on their sheet. Then, they look for the answer they just records until they find it. Once they find it, they solve the problem it’s next to.
If they cannot locate their answer, that means they made a mistake. Great for self-checking and self-correcting.
Students will end up where they started.
