Product Description
Math About Me: More specifically, Numbers About Me. Get to know your students with this fun accordion poster. This poster makes for a perfect hallway display, bulletin board display, works well to use in an interactive notebook, and so much more. Plus, it makes for a neat keepsake for mom's to put in their memory box.

There is also a title sheet if you want to display these in the hallway. It says "Numbers About Me" and has colored clip art kids holding numbers.

Please note that I refer to this as a 'poster' but it prints on regular paper, it's simply the name I gave it because it's my own take on the frequently used 'poster' that teachers like to use. It's just a different style.

note: You do not have to fold this Numbers About Me poster accordion style. It works perfectly just left hanging without creases.

On the Numbers About Me activity, students will color the fun black and white number images at the top. They will then decide on 7 numbers that relate to them in some way. They can be numbers in any form: time, fractions, decimals, ... however the students want to use digits. They write the numbers in the boxes given and then out beside the numbers they tell how the number relates to them. For example, maybe they will write the number 2 and then write "I always brush my teeth 2 times per day." Maybe they will write the number 2008 and then write "I was born in 2008." Kids can be creative and use numbers however they would like.

Once the Numbers About Me poster is glued and folded accordion style, let the students share with their classmates so they can get to know one another. Hanging them in the hall or classroom will allow for a fun back to school display.

Enjoy your new school year!
