Math Action cards are structured activities and games that the students can play independently and in partners and groups. They are leveled so they reach the needs of all of your students. The best part about these cards are all of the tasks use the specific manipulatives listed on the cards. There is even an example of the math journal component that is on each card. If there is anything additional that the kids will need it is listed on the card in the top corner (dice, flashcards, etc.) Most of them only use manipulatives. They are easy to use but also challenging to keep your students busy and engaged during math time doing purposeful activities. Some of the skills covered in the games are even and odd, graphing, addition, subtraction, measurement, tally marks, hundreds, tens, ones, symmetry, doubles, estimating, and much much more! There are 112 cards included.
I model these games first with my kids and then I put them in my math stations for them to play! No prep and no planning! Just add manipulatives!
