This is a printable Math Center Activity involving counting, thinking, recognizing and completing number patterns.
Suitable for Kindergarten and Year 1, there are 225 different activity cards, dealing with numbers 0-20, patterns of shapes, sizes and objects.
You can print and use whole sheets as worksheets, but I usually cut and laminate
Square cards (approx 8.7 cm square)
There are seven sets, (30-36 cards for each) so 225 activity cards and a tracking sheet for each set.
SET A Color to complete the pattern
SET B Draw to complete pattern
SET C Choose the correct option to complete the pattern
SET D Fill in missing numbers 0-20 counting by 1s
SET E Fill in missing numbers 0-100 counting by 2,3,5,10s
SET F Draw to complete shape patterns
SET F Copy, match and make patterns
Some answers could be marked with a peg, button, counter etc but mostly students will be asked to draw or write their answers.
I have also used as a whole sheet assessment activity, and ask children to circle or mark the correct answer.
Many children can count to ten or twenty, but now they need to think about the order and counting forwards and backwards, and they need to become more familiar with patterns, seeing sequences and patterns and predicting the numbers, preparing them for working with more complicated number patterns. These activities involve thinking.
This is a companion set for my other counting cards sets.
