How are kids supposed to get excited about dividing whole numbers by unit fractions? By playing Bingo, that's how!
As stated on the teacher instruction page of this document, just distribute the Bingo cards to your students. There are 40 unique bingo cards included. There is a teacher answer key as well as an optional student response sheet. Either call out each problem, or display each problem on a screen for the class to see. You may go in order or choose problems at random. Standard bingo rules apply. After playing, you may choose to have students complete the Written Response Follow-Up sheet.
Please note, this activity corresponds with 5th Grade Common Core Standards, and only involves dividing whole numbers by unit fractions.
