Help your students focus on MATH with this math bulletin board. This resource is flexible, so your bulletin board can be designed the way that best suits your classroom. Inside you'll find:
-bulletin board title
-key words-Each operation symbol contains general examples of key words for that operation.
-problem solving-I included the five problem solving steps we use in my classroom. Since many of us use different steps and terminology, I’ve also included an editable file of these steps. In this file, you may change the wording of the steps and adjust the number of steps.
data wall-If you must display a data wall, I encourage using class averages, rather than individual names or numbers. This will protect student privacy. Since these are editable, they are located in a separate folder in the file. I’ve made a version for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades.
-accountable talk-There are speech bubbles for accountable talk sentence stems. Cut out and arrange each speech bubble. I have also included a blank speech bubble
where you can add your own sentence stems.
-levels of understanding-We use Marzano’s levels of understanding for our grading scale, so I was sure to include those too. The learning scales are a great tool for self-reflection and metacognition.
