These Math Calendar Pattern Pieces are design for use with calendar pocket charts which have 3 x 3 inch pockets. However, they could also be used with magnets, velcro, etc. to make your own calendar.
The pieces use common math visuals such as: ten frames, base ten blocks, coins (heads and tails), polygons (regular and irregular), and solid figures (3D shapes). Have students predict which item comes next in the pattern by revealing only one piece each day. The pieces provided include growing and repetitive patterns, and can be mixed to create your own patterns as well.
Directions for Use:
1. Print/copy on card stock
3. Cut one quarter inch off of top and left sides
4. Cut every 3 inches until pieces are all cut out (3 x 3 squares)
