These Center Activities cover Ordering Numbers. Students will create numbers with dice, and use their knowledge of number order to come up with a new number that falls in between the two numbers they created. Included are 10 pages for each difficulty level (easy, medium, and hard). 30 pages in total. Below are some options for how to use the pages.
Math Center As a Table: Print pages and laminate. Give each table 3 pages of activities, 2-6 dice (depending on difficulty level), and a dry erase marker. Students will work as a team to complete the activities and share their success with the class.
Math Center Independent Discovery: Print pages and laminate. Have dry erase markers, erasers, and multiple dice available at the center. When you introduce the center, be sure to explain the difficulty key located at the top of each page so your students can self-monitor. Have a number line available at the center to scaffold struggling learners.
Math Center on Your Own : Print multiple copies of each difficulty. Do NOT laminate. Students can work on activities during class and turn in completed work for a grade.
