Skill: Children will practice counting and identifying the number that comes between 2 given numbers. (numbers from 1 to 21)

Grade Level: Pre-Kindergarten through First Grade, Special Education, ESL

You will receive a 29 page ebook which includes 2 complete activities. Each activity includes a (20) Task Cards and (20) Answer Cards. Your ebook also includes a Storage Label, Directions, a Graphics Credit Page, a Terms of Use Page, and a Thank You Note. Great for a Math Center or Partner Activity. Very quick and easy preparation time. Just print, cut, and laminate. Note 2 Task Cards per page and each needs to be cut out.
Activity 1--Ten Frames
Activity 2--Numbers
I might suggest doing Activity 1 first as this was designed with the ten frames as a visual. The children can practice counting up by using the dots on the first ten frame to figure out what would come next. This visual will work really well for students who have a difficult time with the concept of counting up. Activity 1 will work well with your visual learners.
Activity 2 might be used as a follow-up activity after grasping the concept from using Activity 1 or you might be able to use it right away with your more advanced learners.
*** Great for those kindergarten teachers who do math assessment of numbers 1 through 10. You can use the numbers 11-21 for your more advanced learners or later on in the year. Great for first grade teachers as well.
