Equivalent Fractions is one of the hardest things for fourth, fifth and even sixth graders. This game allows them to work with their partners and discuss it! It's great! You will need to buy some colorful card stock, some Ziploc bags and maybe a tub to store it in. Its quite easy to set up and quite easy to play. The problems your children will have is the math, not the game.. which is the point isn't it?
This is an easy way to start if you are just setting up Math centers or math Games.
Advice: Once, for a very low class, we made a chart that displayed the equivalencies and the children did often refer to it. Other classes, I didn't have to so much support. THis really is the best starter game to start growing your math centers
