Math center focusing on place value. Great for reviewing place value in an interactive way.
The Game: Students will take turns rolling the dice. Student 1 will roll one die and fill in the number under My first roll. Then student 2 will roll one die and fill in the number under My first roll. Student 1 rolls again and fills in the number under My second roll. Student 2 rolls again and fills in the number under My second roll. Then both students will draw a picture showing the number they rolled, using the first number rolled for the tens column and the second number rolled for the ones column. They will then compare pictures and color the box green if they won (larger number than partner) or red if they lost (smaller number than partner).
Can be easily laminated to reuse again and again or printed for an informal assessment.
